Core Academic Learning
Each student’s academic program is created with the goal of mastery and understanding and is not focused accumulation of curriculum.
Each student receives instruction using a variety of teaching methods to meet their individual strengths and needs.
The student to staff ratio is 10:2 in each classroom
Social & Emotional Learning
SEL is built into the core foundation and beliefs of Quintilian as well as explicitly taught to students as part of the curriculum.
When students are equipped with social-emotional skills, they’re better able to learn and contribute to a positive school climate.
Life Long Learning
In addition to the standard Ontario Curriculum students also engage in learning activities that ignite the passion for learning and create alternative learning opportunities.
These learning PODs are created based on interest and exploration.
In the past some of these opportunities have included: cooking, outdoor education, photography, pottery and debate.
